Of course they're not.
Question: Why would Obama compromise the safety of his children? Answer: He's not. He is keeping them safe by not giving them the vaccination. Quote:
Of course, everyone else will be forced to. |

Here;'s what the article actually says;
"President Obama's school age daughters have not been vaccinated against the H1N1 flu virus. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says the vaccine is not available to them based on their risk. The Centers for Disease Control recommend that children ages 6 months through 18 years of age receive a vaccination against the H1N1 flu virus. At this time only children with chronic medical conditions are receiving the vaccination because their immune system is not strong enough to fight off the strain. The CDC also says a regular seasonal flu shot does not protect against the virus." It therefore seems there's a perfectly innocent explanation.

Of course. Can you imagine the teeth-gnashing and garment-rending on US talk radio if the pres's kids were found to be cutting into the head of the line because their dad's Leader of the Free World (and a negro)?
In Canada, you can jump the queue if you're on a professional sports team, apparently-- the Toronto Raptors basketball team and the Maple Leaf NHL club seem to have managed it 'somehow'-- but there's political fallout to deal with if you're found out, bigtime. It dominated Question Period in the provincial parliament today, as well it might, being that toddlers and the care-givers of infants, among others on the priority list, are waiting in line at clinics for two to three hours for the jab. And where's the evidence that anyone's being 'forced to' take the shot? They certainly aren't forcing anything on anyone where I live.

So the HNIC is not worried about H1N1.

My 10 year old daughter is even scared by the hype. I refused to give her school permission to vaccinate her, so now she's getting another course in Don't Trust The Government 101 from me. Yeah, I'm one of those people. Last year I had it out with her teacher when they wanted her to take ADD drugs because she was daydreaming during the math lessons. Do you think "My daughter will never take that fucking poison!" was direct enough? Her teacher hated me after that. |

![]() The H1N1 vacc isn't 'poison', probably, and maybe it even works to prevent H1N1 utterly in certain cases, but there are already pharmaceuticals (tamflu/oseltamivir) that ameliorate symptoms in the generally flu-afflicted and allow them to carry on their normal lives, more or less, after a period of feeling like shit.

The huge rush to get those syringes out of those factories always comes at some cost.
